To Our Dear Friends & Family

A few months ago we made the decision to sell Sixto’s Cantina and on February 18, 2022 we served our last Margarita.

This decision was certainly not an easy one as it impacts so many people, especially our dedicated staff. However, wherever they end up, we know their employers will be lucky to have them.

We have appreciated all of the opportunities and challenges while in business and hope that the community enjoyed our contributions as much as we will be indebted for the ongoing support. We have been very lucky to have been able to share authentic Mexican cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails with all of you. It has been so nice to get to know you and your families as well as your business associates, personal friends and anyone else you felt important enough to sit across the table and share a plate of nachos or fajitas.

We all know that no matter where you come from or what you do for a living, sharing a meal, especially in a festive environment makes for a good life……We are grateful that Sixto’s was that place for so many people.

We will certainly miss all of you, but you can still find us down the street at Alana’s Cafe, where we have been for over 28 years. Alana’s is not going anywhere, so please don’t be a stranger. We will have mimosa’s instead of margaritas and as always we will continue our Mexican Wednesday lunch specials. For those who do not know, those Wednesday specials were the reason we opened up Sixto’s over 8 years ago.

Thank you again for all the great memories and support over the years. It means a lot to all of us.
